2014

HAPPY 'SOON' NEW YEAR AND GOODBYE 2013 YOU WERE LOVELY!!!

Right lets get down to the good stuff, 2013 you were great well done, actually you were quite the best so far I have discovered that oh lordy yes I can be loved by another human being and infact my best friend is my twin.

Nitty Gritty Time!!
I have 4 resolutions that are quite acheivable (yes I cheated).

Don't cry as much
I haven't really cried in 2013 but I don't like anyone else being sad, let alone myself. I just have to keep telling myself it can be solved with chocolate and a movie it's not the end of the world.

Go to the gym at least once a week
I was a bit cautious of doing this one but overall it is do-able as I always have blogilates if I can not make it to the gym. I'm not having a trainer because I don't care. Although my boyfriend usually comes home and shows off a lot and i'm quite a competitve girl so that should push me towards going to the gym. I mainly want a six pack but I realise my live of pizza may need to cut down to healthier snacks. I could always enhance v-lines but that may need a couple of trips a week to the gym.

Plan more
I mean this when it comes to blogging, or vlogging. I will use the reminder and calender on my phine more often! I will jot down thoughts and ideas on the go in one of my notebooks that I constantly keep buying. I will plan more!

Be happy overall
Don't let anybody bring me down. I don't care what they say the friends I have at high school I will probably forget them, but dare I say it? YOLO "you've only got one shot so make it count"-JLS

So there we go here's to blogging twice as hard in 2014 and making a real go of it!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

It's Tea Dance Time

A quite different post from me today. I am writing this while snacking on a sandwich and just. Finished sound check.
I just happen to be out today on a trip with my mum, auntie Sandra, Robert and Roberts parents.

My auntie holds ballroom and sequence dancing every Wednesday, Saturday and Thursday.

So today is a special occasion.

As you can tell from these photos Nantwich Civic Hall is a massive place with a beautiful dance floor for any function.

The tables have been decorated with roses and people have arrived.

The cakes have gone down a treat with all the guests and my singing went just as well as hoped.

During the interval cakes served on cake stands we're placed on each table along with tea and coffee being served, to make this tea dance special.

The cakes were eaten very quickly (with a few on the floor. Oops), and lots of compliments towards what had been served, some saying it was more than what they expected.

The floor and hall itself look very different with all the lights turned down and the special effects played.
Only downsides I would think is if a drink gets spilled everybody else will spill but the Bar staff are very good when dealing with spillages.

Overall the whole afternoon was a massive success with a great turn out! Everybody was so lovely and obviously enjoyed others company.

Everybody I talked to loved the whole idea of 'afternoon tea' dances instead of night dances. Obviously this concept suited older people more as they could not come out/make it at night time.

From what I know from Sandra this was only a one-off but seen as so many people loved this idea. Who knows? Maybe there will be many more of these dances to come, hopefully with more tea!

The whole experience was an enjoyable one for me and everybody involved. Nobody had to worry about a thing and was planned out well ahead of the date.

Disadvantages: The music is modern, upbeat, and ballroom and Latin sequenced dance based. Obviously this will not be to everybody's cup of tea but to the people that love this kind of thing, will love everything that is there for them!

QOTD #3

Quote of the day3

Reasons for this quote:
1. I love my queen B!
2. They don't understand, this song lyric and quote is I fact very tru, even if you are married or in a stable relationship I still beLieve that there is a part of every relationship where the boy just doesn't understand. Maybe it will never be that way?

Getting very deep here.

Empties #1

So this is my first ever empties blog post but I mentioned that I have a few so why not?

I have repurchased this product before and it works very well and leaves my hair feeling all silky and smooth after washing. The downsides are that it stinks, not when it's on your hair but when it leaves the packaging. This is also only sample size but after two attempts I have decided not to repurchase as I just couldn't bear the smell and there must be a nice smelling hair product that does exactly the same! Any suggestions?

This next Charles Worthington product is just the conditioner of the shampoo and conditioner set that I bought. This is beautiful and I would definitely repurchase! The downside is that it doesn't last very long at all, I have very thick hair therefore require a good dose of conditioner every time I wash my hair. Probably why it's disappeared so quickly. Also it's hard to get the rest of the product out of the tube because of the lid and I also can not get the lid off for all the strength I have in me! For getting out left over product I would prefer a pump or tube design.

This product also uses argon oil which is well known for hair growing treatment and yes it does work...

Lastly the brunette hair leave in conditioner this is definitely my favourite leave in conditioner at the moment and works wonders to bring out the true brunette in my hair and get it silky smooth. I will definitely be repurchasing as this is beautiful and does whatever it can say on the tin.

No I haven't done all my research and know what all of these mean I just know that they definitely leave hair shiny, soft and manageable!

I have never heard of the brand 'creightons' before but after research I have found out that these specialize in colour care as also stated on the tube, so that's why they're soooo good!

Thank you for listening and reading! Any suggestions are all considered below. Please like, and other tangs;)

HAULY HAULY HAULY!!!

Hello again Chickens;)
This is a big haul, most has been bought today but others are from a while back that I never showed you, so just threw them in for good measure. Enjoy!

Firstly I have ran out of my Charles Worthington Shampoo and Conditioner so thought I'd try something new as for the price of Charles they didn't last that long but a review on these will be coming up. So hold on to your horses. I have seen these about before and was a good enough price for a first try. I'll let you all know how I get on with this!

This is the shampoo that I wanted as I got the conditioner from Boots, it worked wonders! Therefore I was desperate to get the shampoo and conditioner together! Unfortunately I couldn't find the conditioner to top up on and didn't get the time to go to Boots (so bought the tea tree one *see above*).

This promises to be extra moisturising and bring out the brunette in your hair, I am a natural brunette head but it still does very well when I'm trying to hide the natural blonde streaks that suddenly appear in my fringe when summer appears.

I usually use the tesco 'firm hold' hairspray though where this 'firm hold' is I'll never know as it doesn't hold my hair or fringe in place at all! So again just trying something new for a good enough price is the 'salon experts, big glam hair, catwalk hold hairspray'.

Let's hope to the stars that this works as I can't wait to get my hair out of the way for school instead of having to the my hair up with a band or clips!

Yay! Big cheer for Lucy she finally got the baby lips original instead of the dupes (although the dupes a beautifully smelling, delicious and work wonders!). This was on a very good deal at the till and I just thought 'life's too short so why not?!?'.

So also expect an in depth review of the baby lips as I have yet to try this and I am thinking of a new series of 'versus' with dupes versus the real thing. More of that to come later, keep those eyes peeled!

Terribly sorry about the stain on my carpet! MAKEUP WARS!! I saw on a beauty blog to open up your eyes you should line your water line with a white pencil and then with your eye colour just line the outer corners of your waterline.

I'm going out with a lot of friends tonight so I will see if this works for the night time look! I got these form MUA as they are good quality (I have used the black before) and they are only £1. I obviously got one in snow white and the other in royal blue.

There were 2 choices of blue the deep royal blue or a more metallic light blue which looked a bit manly when is swatched it and also isn't that close a match to my eye colour as the royal blue.

*My eye colour*

My 'fat hair, thickening spray' says that it will thicken your hair just a couple of sprays over your whole head of hair after a bath or shower then you cane other let your hair dry naturally or blow dry it! How straight forward! We shall see the review and how it goes hah!

It smells beautiful but I will probably use this when I use my hair to dry naturally as I use a lee stafford product to usually let my hair be quicker when blow drying. My hair is already very thick but sometimes feels like it needs more texture so hopefully this will work but if it doesn't then at least I know!

This again was cheap and new. So why not? Impulse has paired up with three lovely ladies from holly oaks and the scent is 'Be surprised' with violets and red fruits. When sprayed I love the scent of the Berries and of course the flowery scent of violets. Paradise!

I spotted this in all the Christmas collection things and oh my lord it's like it was calling me! I am a massive cat fan also yay! A big mug, double yay! With the slogan ' HO BLOODY HO' and cat dressed up as Santa. SCORE. could not resist

We don't celebrate Halloween in our family (I have never been trick or treating! *gasp, shock, horror*). I love the straw on these and reminded me of when I was I a child, also the skally wag on the front (skeleton for anybody in English;))

Lastly I got these for my best friend as we are both obsessed with vintages and marvel comics we I fact both have the same bedroom but as 'his and hers'. I got one of these for myself as I felling love and thought oh Lordy he will love this! Therefore Christmas present number one is in the bagg!

You may have noticed an ark bag, dog, poster, picture and heart notice board also in the photo but I will not be covering this on this post as they are for my new re-vamped 'more British, vintage' room. So will be covered when everything is decorated and painted. Only then will I do a roo tour and show you every thing purchased in much more detail!

Thanks for reading hope you enjoyed.
